Khenpo Gonpo Tashi is a tibetan buddhist monk and teacher of buddhist philosophy. He is graduate of the Diwakar Buddhist Academy of India, which belongs to the tibetan buddhist tradition of Karma Kagyu under the spiritual leadership of 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje. Khenpo Gonpo Tashi after his graduation worked as a teacher in Diwakar Buddhist Academy and he also served in important administrative positions. The last two years he works in Karmapa International Buddhist Institute as attendant to His Holiness Karmapa Thaye Dorje.
The teaching “The Six Perfections Paramitas” is about the perfection in view and action. The six perfections are, generosity, discipline, patience, enthousiastic effort, meditation, wisdom. The practice of the six perfections is a method of self improvement and effective help to others. The achievement of the six perfections results in wisdom and enlightenment. Following teaching there will be question & answer session.
The teaching is about the Calm Abiding Meditation Samata and the Insight Meditation Vipasyana. The calm abiding meditation technique will be taught. Following teaching there will be question & answer session and group practice on calm abiding meditation.
Chenrezig Meditation is a Τibetan Buddhist meditation practice that includes visualization and mantra recitation and has wonderful benefits. Chenrezig meditation can also be practiced individually by those who have received Buddhist refuge and oral transmission.
